Hello, Canada! My name is Galiya Vendrov. Thank you all for being a part of the Youth of Canada community!
Here's a bit about me: I am an ambitious teenager from the Greater Toronto Region. Growing up, I was filled with ideas and a need to give back which led to me become the founder and CEO of Youth of Canada. I am a student tutor, an avid member of student council, president and founder of my high school's Public Speaking Club and online school newspaper, Relay for Life committee member, and a dedicated debate club member. I speak at events and competitions and enjoy videography.
My Inspiration
Can you believe how many opportunities Canadian's have? The huge amount of amazing opportunities (contests, volunteering extracurriculars, etc.) led me to create Youth of Canada. All my life, I have been surrounded by greatness. Whether it be in my friends or in the great youth around me! I wanted to spread that greatness and help Canadian youth reach their potential. Youth of Canada allows people to access opportunities while, at the same time, gaining inspiration from success stories. Not only this, I am a firm believer that today's youth should look back on our Canadian elders. It is incredibly important to appreciate hardships many have gone through to ensure a Canadian future for their families which is why Generations is an exceptional way to appreciate the amazing people Canada has! I also wanted to connect youth from all around the country on the Youth Blog that is used to share ideas from youth for youth!
